Summer isn't bad up here

While drought scours much of the United States, we in Vermont are doing all right so far.  Our county, Addison, is enjoying just the right mix of heat and rain.

Blogging that cheerful observation could elicit some bad luck, of course.  Here's what the next few days looks like:
