New chickens arrive

A crate of baby chicks arrived this morning, mostly Cornish Rocks:

When he was much younger Owain called this "a peeping package."

We're keeping them in a big plastic tub for the next few days, protected from the stalking cats (who see them as chicken nuggets on legs).
